Hey my loves! I know it’s been awhile since my last blog post buuuuuut YA GIRLS BEEN WORKING! Period! Lol Being employed full-time has somewhat made The Leaux Project take a backseat but my goal for 2019 is to TRY to be consistent and get the ball back rolling. I want to put as much energy into my passion project as I do this corporate gig! Speaking of 2019: HAPPY NEW YEAR!! ??? I’m late to the party but y’all still love me! Now on to BUSINESS! Today’s post is brought to you courtesy of Influenster and Maybelline! S/O to them both for the voxbox. This voxbox included a lipstick that is supposed to work universally across the board. It claims to be the perfect shade for everyone, hence the tag line, MADE FOR ALL. I think Maybelline got it right with this shade of red! Red For Me may be the perfect shade of red that I’ve tried (besides my beloved Ruby Woo from MAC) and I love that it doesn’t dry my lips out ( the only issue I have with RW because it’s so matte)
It lasts long enough for me to not have to reapply too often throughout the day. It doesn’t have a heavy feel like some bold lipsticks yet still gives off incredible color!
The only con I can come up with is the packaging. It is a bit too flimsy for my liking but besides that it’s all good! It retails for $5.99 which is a STEAL! They also have other colors too if you want to try a lippie other than red!
