Texas Flava, Southern Hospitality
Heeeeey! So after a few failed attemps to get to Grtitz n’ Wafflez to see what the buzz was about, I finally got there! And I was more than pleased. Owned by chef Jurni Rayne, the flavors from recipes “rooted from tradition” are delicious. The customer service was excellent and the vibes were on point! This brunch spot has been on my radar for a while, but every time I planned to finally check it out, either something always came up or the restaurant was closed. Well they are now open daily, until 3 p.m. … 😩, That being said I made it to experience some good ol’ Southern brunch! Here’s what I ate at Gritz n’ Wafflez:
- Vanilla Bean Waffle
- Celestial Eggs (deep fried devile eggs)
- Catfish with tartar sauce
- Cheese gritz with cajun cream sauce
- Collard green dip with tortilla chips

Gritz &Wafflez has a pretty good menu with other items that look so good. If you’re in the L.A. area give them a try! Gritz N Wafflez Menu
