Fire Cider Health Tonic

I hope you all are doing well, staying as healthy and as safe as you possibly can during this COVID-19 pandemic that we’re experiencing. If you’re lucky enough to live a place where they’ve gotten the Corona Virus under control that’s AWESOME! So in the spirit of all things health and wellness related I bring you all this post! May I introduce to you #FIRECIDER ! ?? Fire Cider is a new health concoction that I came across and it really piqued my interest.

If you know me you know I’m always down for something health and wellness related! Whether it’s vitamins, health food, (fitness, sorta ?) or concoctions I’m DOWN! That’s why when @kiwithebeauty mentioned this in her stories I was HELLA INTRIGUED!
I just made it about a week ago so I can’t wait to start taking this infusion of acv, veggies, fruit and herbs.
I’m no doctor (clearly) so don’t go thinking this is medical advice but they say Fire Cider is good for your immune system, has antibacterial properties, and anti inflammatory properties! That’s just what I hear.

Fire Cider Ingredients

There are a number of ways that you can prepare this tonic but the base of it will always contain Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic, Onions, and Horseradish root. The batch I made has Apple Cider Vinegar, horseradish root, turmeric root, garlic, onions, rosemary, habanero peppers, jalapeno peppers, orange slices, lemon slices, cinnamon and honey!

Like I mentioned there are a lot of claims of Fire Ciders health benefits. Each veggie, fruit and herb plays a role that make this such a powerhouse tonic as a whole! ACV is great for the digestion, Onion and Garlic has great antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. The peppers are good for cardiovascular health. Honey has great soothing properties and is responsible for the sweetness the tonic may have!

Understand that none of this is medical advice. Just a little health and wellness information. Consult with your doctor for any medical issues you may be experiencing.

I wanted to make this tonic before we settle into the Fall season and the impending cold/flu season. I anticipate this tonic to be ready for consumption in a few weeks! So I will be reporting back to let you all know how it tastes, how it made me feel, and any other info I feel needs to be told about Fire Cider!
