Well hello there friends!

Let’s get into Beyoncés Cowboy Carter concert! The Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood was a night to remember! Preferably, I arrive to shows early so I can soak up the scene. People-watching is half the fun, and everybody showed OUT in their finest country glam: denim, fringe, rhinestones, boots, cowboy hats. The Beyhive understood the assignment as per usual! The energy was so lively! It felt like a big family reunion where everybody just happened to be slaying in western couture. I even got some compliments on my own outfit! I already had most of my look thanks to my parents San Antonio roots; my neighbor came through with the boots. After searching high and low trying to piece together a fit for Renaissance, I told myself I wasn’t doing all that this time.

And honestly? I didn’t need to. The Cowboy Carter spirit showed up for me. 😉

The merch line moved quick and I was happy they had bags because I don’t need all my goodies (1 T-shirt lol) just loose! Once inside, I got my light-up wristband and grabbed a sample of Beyoncé’s Sir Davis whiskey — smooth with a cute little fruity chaser. Also, I was looking for the Cécred station but didn’t see it. As expected, food and drinks at SoFi were PRICEY! Lsiten, Beyoncés Cowboy Carter cocktails came in souvenir cups for $45 — cute, but I passed. I used the money at the end of the night! LOL! I ended up next to this guy (Hey Jake!) who had flown in from Australia just to see Queen Bey. That’s right dedication!

American Requiiem

The Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit opened with “American Requiem,” and as soon as I heard those first notes, ya girl got a little teary-eyed. From that moment on, Beyoncé held us in the palm of her hand. Beyoncé didn’t just perform; she testified. Every performance was intentional, from the vocals to the visuals. Everyone in Sofi Stadium was tapped in. From American Requiiem to some of my other faves including Bodyguard, Flamenco, Ya Ya, and Sweet * Honey * Buckiin’, It really felt like we were all part of something special.

The Carter Family manager aka everybody’s niece,  Blue Ivy,  performed exceptionally well during the night — confident, poised, and in sync with the energy of the show. It was a joy to see her continuing to grow as a performer in her own right. And then there was the tender moment when Rumi graced the stage during “Protector.” It was beautiful!

Welcome to the RENAISSANCE

At one point during the show it went from Beyoncés Cowboy Carter and she welcomed us to the Renaissance again! Ayyye! She performed a few hits from Renaissance and I LIVED. That album is forever a mood and hearing those tracks live again was everything! The visuals? Stunning! From the lighting and stage design to the imagery, it was giving cinema. Cowboy Carter was already powerful on record, but live? It hit different. Beyoncé’s command of this new musical lane, while honoring tradition and challenging boundaries, proves she is in a league of her own. The show reaffirmed her place as a genre-defying icon who’s not afraid to take risks.

One thing this concert made crystal clear: I’m officially done with floor seating. The view, the crowd, the standing? It’s just not for me anymore. Give me that sweet 100 section any day. Basically better sight-lines, a little breathing room, and still close enough to feel the energy without being in the thick of it. That’s the move from now on.

“This ain’t a country album. This is a Beyoncé album.”

Cowboy Carter is a whole statement. It’s country, it’s Black, it’s bold, and it’s Beyoncé doing what only she can do: blending genres and reclaiming space. Not to mention The Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour nods to the historic spaces where Black artists used to perform during segregation but this time, she’s reclaiming that legacy on her own terms. Every show is a celebration of identity, roots, and power. Period.

Would I see it again? Absolutely! Las Vegas may be getting a visit! LOL! So if you have a chance to catch the Cowboy Carter tour, go early, dress up, and let yourself feel it all. Oh, and please don’t fall for the Ticketmaster presale scams! This isn’t just a concert — it’s a declaration, and a celebration! As Beyoncé said: “This ain’t a country album. This is a Beyoncé album.” And she meant that.
